The Shed with TreeClimbers

Mar 15 2018 19:00 - 23:00

Kansas Smitty's, 63-65 Broadway Market, E8 4PH London

The Shed challenges listeners with an ever-changing list of performers that the minds behind Smitty’s have curated to entertain and enlighten. You may think that going to see a classical accordionist or Indian Sarod player is out of your comfort zone, but trust that the Smitty’s team won’t lead you astray. The Shed is always forward thinking, but most importantly, always good.

An unusual line up of vibraphone and voice with bass and drums, the newly formed TreeClimbers have a distinctive sound that frees them from being tied to a genre. They play music inspired by a broad variety of influences from singer-songwriters such as James Taylor to modern jazz composers including Fred Hersch and Marius Neset.
