Every Thursday at Kansas Smitty’s Bar, The Shed challenges listeners with an ever-changing list of performers that the minds behind Smitty’s have curated to entertain and enlighten. You may think that going to see a classical accordionist or Indian Sarod player is out of your comfort zone, but trust that the Smitty’s team won’t lead you astray. The Shed is always forward thinking, but most importantly, always good.
Natalie Williams, of Soul Family fame, is a mainstay of the jazz and soul scene. You may have seen her over the seven years her monthly residency at Ronnie Scott’s has been running, or in her performances at the Barbican, Montreux Jazz Festival, Glastonbury or The Royal Jubilee Pageant, but this is the first time she has played with members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band in the intimate confines of Kansas Smitty’s Bar.
