Every Thursday at Kansas Smitty’s Bar, The Shed challenges listeners with an ever-changing list of performers that the minds behind Smitty’s have curated to entertain and enlighten. You may think that going to see a classical accordionist or Indian Sarod player is out of your comfort zone, but trust that the Smitty’s team won’t lead you astray. The Shed is always forward thinking, but most importantly, always good.
Marcus Bonafanti is a frequent Smitty’s House Band collaborator, playing with them at Ronnie Scott’s and their infamous Mardi Gras party. He is known for his gravel-toned voice and acoustic blues guitar. For this special edition of The Shed he will be joined by one of the London blues cognoscenti for a stripped-back, fully acoustic blues session featuring resonators and roots from the Delta and beyond.
