Join us at the Skyloft, for Roses Rope's inaugural evening of rope performance and play!

We are proud to present three performances by some of our favourite riggers and models from across the UK, brought together to welcome you to the North's new rope performance event.

• 19:30 - Doors open
• 20:00 - Performance by Phoenix_Flight & Rae_Gun
• 20:45 - Performance by Ruby-Rouge & (TBD)
• 21:30 - Performance by BurgundyRose & surf-girl
• 22:15 - Free tying until finish

This event hopes to entertain everyone from the most seasoned rope aficionados to those just discovering the art form, and we have chosen our performers with this goal in mind. The varied rope and performance styles will inspire and delight you, and you'll have the opportunity to channel this inspiration into your own ties during our short free tying session.

Venue

The Sky Loft (home of Cloud Aerial Arts)
Wellington House, Pollard Street East, Manchester, M40 7FS

The venue boasts many hardpoints and a plentiful floorspace, along with vertical
poles for hashira suspensions.

• From the outside: The Sky Loft is home of Cloud Aerial Arts, there is a blue door with a code lock, and the sky loft is on the top floor.
• Step-free access is available to the venue, however the service elevator requires one of the event staff to operate it. Please contact us in advance if you require this.

Toilet facilities are available and there will be tea and coffee provided. Please feel free to bring along any of your own non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, as long as you take all rubbish away with you!

Dress Code

This is an evening performance event, so dress as you would to attend the theatre, burlesque, ballet etc. Suits, dresses, corsets etc. all welcome! We encourage you to dress to impress!! Though please bear in mind that vanilla attire is to be worn outside the venue and there may be non-scene attendees present for the performances. (you will not be turned away for wearing non-formal clothing, but we do encourage it!)

There will also be free-tying time towards the end of the evening so if you plan to get involved it may be wise to bring a more casual change of clothing and your own ropes (Safety sheers are a necessity for any riggers wishing to engage in free-tying).

Pre-requisits (who should attend)

There are no requirements to attend the performance evening as a viewer, all we ask is that you are open minded, respectful of the performers and staff. We encourage people from all artistic backgrounds to join us for this event!

As there will be free-tying time at the end of the evening, we ask that you approach this sensibly and follow usual club rules (don’t interrupt anyone mid-scene unless you feel something dangerous is happening – in which case, please inform a member of staff asap. Photography & Videography

NO photography or videography of any kind is permitted during the performances. This is for the safety and comfort of our performers and we take this very seriously. Anyone seen to be capturing video or stills will be asked to delete all footage and will be removed from the premises. We will have an event photographer onsite to capture the performances, however this footage will not always be made public, it is for the interest of performers only.
