The People's Kitchen
The first Monday of every month at the Hornbeam Centre is the People’s Kitchen, where delicious lunch is made from food that would have been wasted.
For example, the ingredients in the June ‘People’s Kitchen’ included delicious organic carrots from Organiclea, sweet peppers, swedes from the Veg Hut and pasta sourced by the Best Before project. Lunches are vegan, mostly organic and there are always gluten-free options available.
Lunch is served at 1pm in the Hornbeam Café and the meal is pay-as-you-feel with take away options available..
New Leaf cooking classes are funded by North London Waste Authority and brought to you by Hubbub.
