Paul Edis, the pianist everybody is talking about, ‘A brilliant young pianist’ - The Guardian, teams up for a very special show featuring the sublime voice of acclaimed San Franciscan singer, Noa Levy, who will be performing Bill Evans’ original music alongside some standards he performed regularly.

    PAUL EDIS

Nobody sounds quite like Paul Edis or transports you to the places he travels to with his meditative music. Having received unanimous critical acclaim for his last studio album, "The Still Point Of The Turning World", Edis has immersed himself in the exquisite work of Bill Evans – widely considered to be the most important and influential pianist in the history of jazz.

Many people will know Evans from his work with Miles Davis on Kind Of Blue. Davis said he had “quiet fire,” which perfectly encapsulates his mesmerising and understated playing style. Like Evans, Paul Edis plays without a trace of bombast or affectation. Simultaneously soothing and stirring, rapturous yet relaxed, at times the melodies almost appear to become subservient to the dreamlike mood of the music.

    NOA LEVY

Noa is a jazz-rock fusion vocalist originally from Israel. She sings with the emotional directness of Carmen McCrae, a powerful voice reminiscent of Eva Cassidy and the playful energy of Anita O’Day. Noa studied with Art Khu, Alona Turel, Dann Zinn, Laurie Antonioli and Sandy Cressman and has performed with internationally renowned artists including Yoni Rechter, Alon Nadel, Marc Secara, Clairdee as well as the Israeli Chamber Orchestra. Noa served and performed in the IDF Navy band

NOA has an excellent jazz voice, which is not only trained, but also very swinging and emotionally penetrating to the outside.” - WOLFGANG GEISE
