Welcome to the Manchester Showdown, the new UK DotA 2 LAN. This event is run by the British Gaming League, who brought you the weekly UK DotA Cup. This Showdown series has the following format: a weekend of online qualifiers to distinguish the 4 best teams from the rest; and a LAN final, where the semifinal and finals will be played.
The LAN final is going to be hosted in GAME, situated in the intu Trafford Centre on the 18th August 2017.
Ticket Types
Player ticket is the ticket you buy as a player if you know the finalised roster of your team.
If you do not have five players confirmed you, as a player, can buy a Team Ticket. This is a ticket that has your name on, with four blank spaces for players on it. So you can decide closer to the time what your roster will be.
Spectator tickets will need to be purchased just to give us an idea of how many spectators we will be getting on the day.
THIS IS A TICKET FOR THE QUALIFIERS, YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY MORE MONEY IF YOU RECEIVE AN INVITE TO THE LAN.
Ticket Purchasing:
For a team to signup for the qualifiers, each player of the team must purchase a 'Player Ticket' from this site. When you purchase your ticket, you will be prompted to enter the name of your team. This is the name that you and your team will use, and what we will use to group the teams together and ensure they have paid.
Only then, the team will be seeded into the weekend qualifier along with other eligible teams.
Qualifier Information:
On the 30th July 2017 and 6th August, the online qualifiers will be taking place. It will be played in a double elimination format, with teams randomly seeded. The top two teams from each qualifier will be invited to the LAN final on the 18th August 2017 at the Intu Trafford Centre.
YOU HAVE TO ATTEND THE LAN WITH THE ROSTER YOU USED IN THE QUALIFIERS, IF YOU RECEIVE AN INVITE. ALL ROSTER CHANGES WILL HAVE TO BE DISCUSSED WITH RJ BEFOREHAND.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?
If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

Where do I find a link to an online event?
Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
