Please note that this first run of The Life and Death of Paul Marrane may be a little raw. We will be aiming to deliver the full experience, but please be forgiving of the odd rough edge - the tickets are a bit cheaper to reflect this.

In May 2015, A Door In A Wall takes you beyond mere murder mysteries into something a little more adventurous:

The flurry of activity that followed the sudden demise of a perfect stranger was unexpected. There seemed no suggestion of foul play and he had no apparent close friends or family. Even his colleagues were not entirely certain what he did. But from the moment he collapsed on the floor of the bank, Professor Paul Marrane attracted the attention of some powerful figures.

Whispered rumours hint at a highly unusual life.

Now representatives of four influential organisations are descending upon the area of Poplar in east London, eager to be present at the reading of his will. Staking a successful claim to the estate will offer each of these factions Marrane's possessions – and his secrets. But what are their ultimate designs?

The game will run on selected evenings from 1st May to 31st May, with additional afternoon dates on weekends. The Life and Death of Paul Marrane is a team game and we suggest a group size of 3-6, though there are no formal limits. Each team will need a smartphone to hand and we advise you wear comfortable footwear as our story leads you out into the nearby streets in search of clues and characters. Please note that the event is not suitable for children and we ask you to arrive no later than one hour after the advertised start time. Each member of your team will need a ticket.
