🐾 In the jungle, the mighty jungle...🐾


This workshop is ideal for those who are interested in learning the basics of shoe customisation. A little crafty knowledge is useful but beginners are welcome. Suitable for ages 15+yrs & great for any college fashion/textiles students.

It will cover various shoe customisation techniques which you will be guided through step by step throughout the day.

You will be encouraged to experiment with a selection of gorgeous tropical and animal print fabrics and embellishments to create your own fabulous ever-so on trend shoes!

By the end of the workshop, you will have learnt:

1. How a shoe is constructed and the names of its parts

2. Basic design principles for shoe customisation

3. How to take a pattern from your shoes

4. How to cover your shoes using fabric

5. How to trim and embellish your shoes

6. How to give your shoes a professional finish

Please bring along your own pair of shoes to cover (light coloured patent/PU courts or ballet flats are ideal), all other materials will be provided. You will get to go home with a finished pair of unique customised shoes.

Cost per person - £55 includes bkg fee.

Lucy works as a freelance fashion and craft instructor, delivering workshops and talks for craft venues, schools, museums and community groups. Lucy has worked in the fashion industry for nearly 20 years since graduating from Liverpool Art School with a degree in Fashion and Textiles Design in 2000.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
