The Men from the Valleys join the Chaps from the Estuary! On a visit to Essex from their home in South Wales our friends from the Pontnewydd Male Choir join the Leigh Orpheus to perform an interesting and entertaining programme. We'll hear the long-established, 115-year-old, Pontnewydd Male Choir sing music that started its life in the mining towns of the south Wales Valleys. The Leigh Orpheus (a mere youngster of a choir at 50 years old) perform their own favourites too, and with both choirs joining together the wall of sound from 100 men enjoying singing together will be impressive. A concert not to be missed.
Please note that this concert starts at 6 pm, so no need to be out late on a Saturday night.
