Alan Bennett’s provoking and riotous play throws together a bunch of hopeful adolescents, a traditional English teacher, a pernickety headmaster, and a new supply teacher, all striving towards that coveted Oxbridge place. In this witty, all-female revamp of ‘The History Boys’, this time women won’t be following behind with the bucket.
