Radio 4's Jason Cook, first time here for Tez Ilyas and Ria Lina and your compere is Martin Mor!
Be ready for pretty much anything when Jason Cook takes to the stage. Behind his cheerful Geordie exterior lurks a dark, sharp comedic mind capable of taking an unsuspecting audience to places they didn’t want to go.
Jason wrote and starred in cult BBC sitcom “Hebburn” alongside Vic Reeves and Chris Ramsey. He has also written and performed in two highly successful radio 4 shows 'Happiness' and 'School Of Hard Knocks'
“Jason Cook has more funny in his middle toe than most comics do in their whole body”. Chortle
”As smooth as brown ale…buttock-clenchingly funny”. The Herald
Within months of first picking up a microphone Tez Ilyas found himself in the finals of no less than eight comedy competitions, within a few years he won the BBC New Comedy Award and 2017 will see him embark on his first national tour!
“Blackburn-born Ilyas has a slickness more reminiscent of US comics, and the gags to back it up, though his most prized asset could yet be his bold, subversive streak” The Guardian
★★★★★ Mirror ★★★★ The Times ★★★★ The Telegraph ★★★★ Sunday Times
