Join us for a day event in the beautiful Ceiriog valley, at the iconic Tan y Garth Hall.
The cost for the event is £65, which includes an introductory first year’s membership of the IHS. Benefits of membership being discounts on courses, residential rate, news letters etc. Lunch, afternoon tea will be provided. You will be met with a warm welcome and the renowned Tan y Garth hospitality.

The day will consist of flowing yoga sequences, postures to bring strength and flexibility, breathing practices, meditation and relaxation to restore and revitalise. There will be plenty of opportunity to rest if required, and more challenging posture work for those who wish to work a bit harder!
Kate Knowles will be teaching the course. Kate qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 2007, and has since undertaken further training in Yoga for People living with Cancer and Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs. She runs weekly classes in West Kirby and at Maggies Centre at Clatterbridge Hospital.
Tan y Garth Hall,Pontfadog was built in 1915-1917 by Dayang Muda ofSarawak wife of Bertram Brooke,Tuan Muda of Sarawak. Who was related to James Brooke (White Rajah of Sarawak) 1803 -1868.The Hall was built of local stone and local oak after the style of William Morris. Outstanding features are the strong construction of the walls and the shape of the veranda.In the garden there are fine examples of Topiary in the shape of birds and also a dovecote. The Hall was built as a family home
