The Great Digestifs of France with Henry Harris

For the Francophile, Henry Harris's restaurant Racine in Knightsbridge was a 'must visit'. The restaurant sadly closed in 2015 but the legend has lived on. Today any chance to taste Henry's classic provincial French cooking is a must.
One of Henry's current business interests, which he runs with his wife (who in turn inherited it from Henry's late father), is an importer and distributer of artisan brandies and eaux-de-vie from small French producers through 'Harris Vinters'.
On Tuesday 25 April, the Lutyen's kitchen team will be cooking a Racine classic or two under the watchful eye of Henry. Then, post dinner guests will have the opportunity to taste a selection of 'hard to come by' Armagnac, Calvados and eaux-de-vie ranging from 4 to 40 years old in the comfort of the Lutyen's Members' Room with tasting notes, stories and tales-long and short, coming from Monsieur Harris.
The Great Digestifs of France event will begin with a drinks reception at Lutyens Bar at 6.45pm. Tickets are priced at £75 which include canapés, dinner and all drinks.
