Margate Mushroom Club is a mushroom fan club based in Margate for all things that celebrate fungi in the Thanet area (@MargateMushroomClub).
For Margate Mushroom Club’s debut event they will be presenting this years Fungi Film Fest curated annually in the US. This selection of 16 short films have been created by film makers from 10 countries across the globe.
“The Fungi Film Fest is the world’s only film festival dedicated to the beauty, weirdness, and human influences of mushrooms, lichens, and micro fungi.Films are submitted by people like you, with the only requirement for entry being that the film features fungi in some way. Each year brings a different mix of films.”
Also don’t miss out on some delicious truffle popcorn to accompany the screening.
