    Description

What is the fourth industrial revolution, and how is it impacting politics worldwide?

Our world is changing. We are now at the cusp of the fourth industrial revolution, a new stage of global progress driven by exponential technological advancements. The revolution is shifting the way we live, work, and play. It is expanding our understanding of what is possible.

Artificial intelligence, mobile technologies, big data, mixed reality, cyber-physical systems, and the internet-of-things, are all fundamentally reshaping society and the global economy. This brings many challenges and opportunities. The world can be more open, fairer, and more prosperous, but it could also become more unequal and exclusionary.

We'll be discussing what the fourth industrial revolution is in more detail, and how it is impacting us, our economies, societies, and our politics.

Keynote speaker: Nicholas Davis, Head of Society and Innovation, Member of the Executive Committee, World Economic Forum Geneva (he will be joining us via video-stream).

The session will be moderated by Founder and Director of Forward Institute, Adam Grodecki.

Tickets are free for members of the Global Shapers and The Fourth Group communities. Otherwise, members of the public can purchase tickets for £10.

The Fourth Group is hosting this event in partnership with the World Economic Forum Global Shapers in London and The Forward Institute.
