    Description

    The next generation of experiential events is coming. We are an online think tank and networking group for The Experience Revolution aka The E.R.

    We hold free, monthly meet ups for young professionals in events curation and experience design and chat about stuff on the internet.

    @TheExpRev

    Our monthly sessions are an opportunity to meet new people working across events and experience within the arts and culture sector. We like to give everyone the chance to meet someone new, and then we hear from an independent speaker about their work, role and the challenges they face in Industry.

    This month we will be talking event promo, with Industry expert Lucy Swan and funding your arts festival with Philippine Nguyen from Unlimited Productions:

    Lucy’s background is a mixed bag of experience – from fashion writing and styling for Burberry to PR for Selfridges.

    Working with creative agency Margaret for 5 years – Lucy developed creative strategies for marketing/PR and content for a huge variety of clients from Swarovski, Sony and Nintendo to Salt-Water Sandals, Free Range Art and Design Exhibition and Trees for Cities.

    She is now a freelance Producer and PR consultant (and yoga teacher) – helping individuals and brands develop their ideas into successful campaigns. Most recently she has worked with new makeup brand 3INA, consulting and producing on all their creative.

    At Unlimited, Philippine focuses on fundraising, management and strategy and has substantial experience as a consultant in Public Affairs and Communications. Previous positions spanned public and private sectors, from the French National Assembly to international media companies such as Canal+. Her love of cinema brought her to create a film festival for young directors, chaired by the President of the Cannes Film Festival in 2011. She’s keen on discovering different cities and has lived in Prague, Copenhagen, Bangkok, The Hague and Paris, before moving to London. Philippine studied Political Science at Science Po in Paris and Public Law at Paris Sorbonne University.

    Art night is a free contemporary arts festival that will transform London for one night on 2 July 2016. Ten international artist’s projects, including six new site-specific commissions, feature in a cross-disciplinary programme of art, architecture, dance, design and music – forming a unique trail across central London, from 5pm until the early hours. Philippines talk will be about funding and planning.
