The Escape

Feb 22 2018 19:00 - Feb 25 2018 15:00

The Quadrangle Trust, The Granary, The Quadrangle Shoreham Road, TN14 7RP Shoreham

Join us for a weekend of getting back to nature, reflecting on the year that's gone and setting intention for your best self for the year ahead. Along with 15 other women you'll be staying in a beautiful mill in the Kent countryside, feasting on amazing plant-based healthy food prepped by our onsite chef and adventuring on beautiful country walks, wild swimming spots and gathering under the stars.

We’ve created this weekend as a response to many conversations we’ve been having with our peers over the last 18 months on everything from burnout, stress, imposter syndrome, low confidence and wondering how to bring more purpose and impact into our careers whilst also getting the balance right in our personal lives.

We’ve found that we all need more open and honest spaces where we can be kind to ourselves and each other, and importantly the time to dedicate to working through our goals and challenges, without the distractions and stresses of everyday life.

This is our third retreat together. We ran two weekends in 2017 and the feedback has been "life changing". We are so proud of the supportive communities we've kickstarted through these weekends and have loved watching as the cohorts continue to inspire and encourage each other to take on new challenges, find more balance and feel more brave.

We really can’t wait for the weekend to begin. We hope you can join us!

You need or want to build your own resilience - and are open to working through your challenges within a group context.

You feel you’re not fulfilling your potential. You want to be challenged to step up and increase your impact. You’re looking for a confidence boost to follow through on your dreams, or the time to work on and expand your ideas.

You want to build your tribe - and become part of an incredible peer group of women who have each other’s backs.

We’ll be in touch with you shortly after you have signed up to find out a little bit more about you and your needs, as well as what you’d like to bring to the retreat. However, we’ll be roughly working on the following themes:

Your resilience: Start your journey in the Kent countryside with an opportunity to take time for yourself; consider what’s going well for you and what are your challenges and hurdles.

Your impact: Continue your journey from the more grounded and resilient space you now find yourself in. This is time to be much more intentional; what do you want to create this year? What actions or plans lie ahead for you? This is a space to expand your ideas and to be inspired and challenged by those around you.

Your community: You’ll be sharing this journey with between 15 like-minded women. Cooking, eating, exploring challenges and creating intentions together. On this journey, but also as you step back out in your lives, the aim of this retreat is to create an extended, supportive community that collaborate and share. This work is tough but together it’s infinitely more possible.

We know that an event is only as good as all the participants. We are consistently blown away by the incredible women who attend our retreats. You will be in excellent company. However, a few of us will be working behind the scenes to make the magic happen. We are:
