Elgin's monthly comedy club returns this Wednesday #upstairsAtTheDrouthy with another great live stand up comedy line up.
Hosting the evening is Edinburgh's Megan Shandley, comedian, actress and writer, a regional finalist in Funny Women 2016 and Scottish Variety Award Nominee 2017.
Megan is joined by relative newcomer Ian Daniels and rising star Joe McTernan who is probably best known for appearing in sitcom M.U.F.F.
The headliner for the evening is Christopher Macarthur-Boyd - staple of the Scottish comedy circuit. The former hardcore punk bass-player began his comedy career in 2013 and since then has performed internationally, from Downtown Toronto to the Perth and Adelaide Fringe festivals in Australia.
Macarthur-Boyd is a three-time Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist, a So You Think You’re Funny? finalist, has been shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award, nominated two years in a row for Best New Act at the Scottish Comedy Awards and nominated Best New Comedian at the Scottish Variety Awards.
We serve good food, locally sourced and freshly prepared along with a wide selection of fantastic local beers, spirits and excellent wines. Please do visit us for a meal or a drink before a performance and be sure to leave plenty of time.
