Description
The Drouthy Cobbler's monthly comedy club returns with another great line up of Scotland's best stand up comics.
MC Kimi Loughton is known for her exuberant style and her stories of taking on the tribulations of daily life. As unashamedly forthright as she is hilarious, Kimi is a rising star of the Scottish comedy scene (Scottish Comedian of the Year semi-finalist, 2016).
The opener is comedian and actor Joe McTernan with Chrissy Ross and Declan McGuigan performing in the middle section.
Our headliner for the evening is Gary Meikle. Gary’s humour is playfully dark with sharp twists and peppered with uncompromising anecdotes.
'Following in the footsteps of Bridges' STV
Gary first took to the stage in 2013 and has risen through the ranks faster than most. His notable rise, plus his interesting past has led to features in national newspapers such as The Daily Record, and invites to talk shows with Kay Adams and also STV’s Late Show.
'Ingenious story telling' Chortle
He is now in demand at some of the best comedy clubs both north and south of the border, so why not come along and see what all the fuss is about?
'Go see him now whilst you can still afford to' Billy Kirkwood
