To banish the winter blues and add a bit of much-needed drama to a cold, dull January, Sky Atlantic has turned its catalogue of 2017 shows into culinary treats all served from a new takeaway service in London, The Drama Kitchen.”
Dan Doherty, Chef Director at Duck & Waffle, has collaborated with Sky Atlantic to create a bespoke menu that offers TV fans an actual taste of all 12 of its new and best loved drama series – delivering big screen drama every month throughout 2017.
The dishes mix the themes, characters, locations and even food featured on the series – and can all be ordered via Deliveroo.
This is no ordinary takeaway though as each dish comes with its own serving of drama, uncovered when you open the box.
Foodies can indulge in The Billions - a dish of Maine lobster Mac and Cheese, served with gold leaf and caviar on a bed of billion-dollar notes, which feels richer than Bobby ‘Axe’ Axelrod – that will corrupt more than just their senses.
Those looking for something more bittersweet can order The Divorce - a dessert made from shortbread crumblier than Frances and Thomas’ marriage – literally served with Divorce papers.
And fans of Game of Thrones will be presented with a seven-course tasting menu that will transport them straight to Westeros, where they’ll dine better than King Robert on dishes sourced from each of the seven kingdoms and laid out on a map of the region - all washed down with a generous swig of mead.
Each of the 12 dishes brings restaurant-quality food into your home, to accompany the big-screen drama served on the small screen each month on Sky Atlantic.
The full menu to be released includes:
- Game of Thrones
- Twin Peaks
- Fortitude
- Billions
- Ray Donovan
- Divorce
- The Tunnel
- Guerilla
- Britannia
- Tin Star
- Riviera
- Big Little Lies
