The Coronation of Rosie Pink
JAMES PELLOW returns to the Vera Fletcher Hall with
another of his charming one-man plays. This time,
the story revolves around Rosie Pink, the colourful
occupant of 27 Jubilee Close. It’s clear that Rosie
has lived much of her life in her mother’s shadow. An acknowledged beauty, Eleanor Pink had been crowned Carnival Queen in 1946 and expected her daughter to follow in her footsteps. It never happened.
So, Rosie looks back over what she thought was ‘a lifetime of failure’
but eventually she finds success, unexpectedly.
