Description

We all know there is an art to creating a great CV. Now, for the first time, internationally renowned artists Andy Singleton, Marcos Lutyens and Juan Osborne are re-imagining the CVs of students from New College of the Humanities (NCH) and transforming them into stunning pieces of art to celebrate the inaugural graduation of the leading London-based college founded by philosopher Professor AC Grayling.

The first of its kind, The Art of the CV is both an art exhibition and an alternative careers fair for potential employers looking to recruit talented graduates this September. Featuring unique artworks and 3D installations from the globally acclaimed artists, the bespoke creations visually represent the students’ individual skills, talents, achievements and personalities.

The showcase will also reveal artistic interpretations of CVs belonging to NCH founder, Professor AC Grayling and fellow NCH luminaries including historian and well-known TV personality Dr Suzannah Lipscomb and Sir Partha Dasgupta, who is known across the world for his ground-breaking contributions to economics.

Turning the traditional paper CV on its head, the exhibition aims to showcase student talents in a more innovative and exciting way. It will also act as a Careers Fair with a difference by inviting potential employers, businesses as well as the general public to come and view the artworks.

The masterpieces will be exhibited alongside artworks created by NCH students in an outdoor gallery in Bedford Square, London from 10am to 9pm on Friday September 18th 2015.
