Let’s Ask Livvy offers personalised and child specific advice, skills and support to enable parents to cope with any of the challenges our little ones (or bigger ones) may throw at us! From tantrums to fussy eating, separation anxiety, anger management and more – Livvy has over 20 years of experience as a children’s behaviour specialist. She can teach parents to understand the function of behaviours and will work with your parenting style to develop clear, practical and effective strategies to help you resolve any parenting issue you may have. Livvy will support you step-by-step along the way as you implement these strategies, enabling parents and children to enjoy every precious day together.
Olivia Gormally (Livvy) has over 20 years of experience working with children with extremely challenging behaviours. Visiting families in their homes, she specialised in the design and implementation of individually tailored Early Intervention Programmes, and helped hundreds of parents to cope with behaviours and parent more effectively. Livvy still provides services to a handful of families with children with spectrum disorders. In addition, various county councils employ her to provide Autism Consultancy Services to families and schools in need of her specialist knowledge of Early Intervention, Behaviour Management and School Inclusion.
Livvy has a degree in Experimental Psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Livvy is a trained Applied Behaviour Analysis Consultant (ABA) and was Managing Director of the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD UK) for 5 years.
Livvy currently consults in primary schools on their behaviour programmes and with their Special Educational Needs departments, advising on the best and most effective management of children’s behaviour within the classroom.
Livvy currently lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and 3 children.
