The 2022 ELT Freelancers' Awayday

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the seventh ELT Freelancers' Awayday!

The 2022 Awayday and pre-conference BBQ social will both be held at:

There are several ticket types available. Please read the following details carefully before selecting your ticket choices. If you are an ELTpp directory member, log in to the Members' Area to locate your discount code. Then click on 'Enter promo code' at the top of the ticketing page to access reduced price tickets. PRE-CONFERENCE BBQ SOCIAL (FOR FREELANCERS ONLY)   
Thursday 15th, optional drink in the main bar at 7pm, BBQ at 7.30pm
The optional pre-conference BBQ is the evening before the Awayday and will be
held in the Cathedral Suite and adjacent terrace at the voco Oxford Spires Hotel.
Includes a range of BBQ options (dietary requirements will be gathered) and one free drink.

One price for both non-members and ELTpp members: 

EARLY BIRD OFFER! First 50 tickets for ELTpp members will cost £15

Thereafter tickets are £25 for both members and non-members

FREELANCERS' AWAYDAY CONFERENCE TICKET
Friday 16th, 9am to 6pm
Held at the voco Oxford Spires Hotel.
Includes all conference sessions, access to Jobs Fair , hot and cold two-course buffet lunch, refreshments during the day, evening drinks reception, free 15-min 1-2-1 appointment with accountant (first come first served), free professional head-shot photo.

PUBLISHERS' AWAYDAY TICKET (FOR REPRESENTATIVES OF PUBLISHING ORGANISATIONS)

IMPORTANT NOTES

• If you are an ELTpp directory member, click on 'Enter promo code' at the top of the ticketing page to access reduced price tickets. You can find your discount code in on the Discount Page in the Members' Area of the ELTpp website.
• The Awayday is aimed broadly at all freelance ELT publishing roles. 
• If you are purchasing a Publishers' Awayday Ticket, note that you may be requested not to attend one or more main conference sessions if they are of a sensitive nature (e.g. presentations by publishing houses about their ways of working and publishing plans) or are tailored specifically to freelancers. We offer an alternative session for representatives of publishing organisations in these cases.
• The pre-conference BBQ and the Awayday are separate events. Many of the Awayday delegates stay in the
  hotel the night before the Awayday and choose to attend the evening social event. New or nervous attendees have given feedback that this smaller gathering was very helpful in getting to know a few people before the main event.
• All tickets are non-refundable and the booking fee is included in the price. A credit card or Paypal fee may be charged depending on the payment method you use. 
• We recommend that you take out Ticket Protection insurance (offered by Billetto during the check out process).
• You will be asked about dietary information, lift share information, etc during the check out process.
