DJs: Lucky La Rocka (London/New York) - The G-Man - We The Boys Will Rock Ya!! - Carlito Juanito

Rockin' Against Yulin is a gig to raise awareness of the fantastic work of the Humane Society fighting to cease the barbaric Yulin Dog Eating Festival - an annual event where thousands of dogs are blow-torched to death, boiled and eaten. All proceeds will go to HSI-UK to help fund their work.

We have these fantastic bands on board for your entertainment:
Terry & Gerry: A favourite of legendary BBC DJ John Peel in the 1980s, who also counted Joe Strummer (The Clash) & Shane MacGowan (The Pogues) among their fans. Terry & Gerry cut three Peel sessions during 1984 and '85, as well as making several TV appearances including The Tube and The Old Grey Whistle Test. After a break of 27 years, they reformed in 2014 to tour in honour of John Peel, and were invited on to Status Quo's acoustic tour. They have continued to play their Cow-Punk-Skiffle-Billy with the same vibrancy and energy as back in the '80s.

The Riverside Trio: Blackpool's own Riverside Trio began busking on the streets of their home town, but were soon snapped up by Northwood Records to record their 1985 album "Flat Broke" which went on to influence the whole of the authentic rockabilly sound a decade later. They were brought to national attention appearing twice on The Tube, the 1980s music show presented by Jools Holland. They still regularly tour Europe, and this gig is a rare hometown show.

Pink Peg Slax: From Leeds, Pink Peg Slax are another band with strong links to John Peel. He always played their singles on his Radio One show in the 1980s, and the band was invited to cut two Peel Sessions in 1984 and '85, as well as two sessions for Andy Kershaw. TV called as they appeared on The Tube, with their singles and albums regularly scoring 5-star reviews in the NME. As well as TV, radio and press attention, the band was championed by TV chef Keith Floyd who wrote their sleeve notes and used their songs in "Floyd On France".

Mark Harman, James G Creighton, Steve Whitehouse: A unique trio of bona-fide rockabilly legends that got together by chance to support this event.

Creighton was one third of The Shakin' Pyramids, signed to Branson's Virgin label to release a string of classic rockabilly singles and two superb albums in the early 1980s.

Rightfully championed as one of rockabilly music's best guitar players, Harman led Restless to the regular top billing at London's prestigious Klub Foot in the '80s, and they have remained the leading Neo-Rockabilly band ever since.

Whitehouse, known internationally for his remarkable bass-playing, took Frenzy to top billing at the Klub Foot as their classic single "I See Red" shot up the independent chart in 1986 with strong backing from Radio One.

Between bands, we have sets from well-known DJs Lucky La Rocka, The G-Man, We The Boys Will Rock Ya and Carlito Juanito.
