"The cult indie-rockers TELLISON today announce a short UK tour with Cambridge’s GRIEVING in support. Their most recent album, “Hope Fading Nightly”, was released to significant critical acclaim on Alcopop! at the end of last year.

TELLISON were formed in 2005 out of a shared love of unsuccessful indierock bands of the late 90s and early 00s and in the time since they have released three albums (2007's "Contact! Contact!", 2011's "The Wages of Fear" and 2015's "Hope Fading Nightly") and a clutch of sold-out singles all featuring intelligent, fiercely melodic songs about hope, loss, love and literature. The band have had an eventful ten years – touring countless times, playing major festivals across UK & Europe and building a significant and dedicated fanbase for their anthemic and emotive music in the process.

GRIEVING are a new band from Cambridge. While their influences come from similarly nostalgic sources to TELLISON, they’re not as immediately morbid as their name might suggest. Their debut EP, released last month, included the first 5 songs the band had written together and as well as early support at DIY, Stereogum and The FADER, 4 of these have seen plays at either BBC Radio 1 or 6 through Huw Stephens, Dan P Carter and Tom Ravenscroft."
