For the last 7 years Honey has been hustling hard in some of the best eating and drinking spots around the World such as Sager + Wilde (LDN), 10 William Street (SYD), Rosforth + Rosforth (CPH) and most recently the world-famous NOMA in Mexico.
She currently works as Head Sommelier at NUALA on Old Street and has just launched her first company BASTARDA - a female-led collaboration of food and drink taste-makers. She is completely obsessed with natural wines and even won over Jay Rayner who is a self-confessed natural wine hater when he reviewed NUALA in the Observer. Honey is a firm believer that if we care where our food comes from, then the same should be said for wine.
On Thursday 28 June The Basics Store will host Honey for an evening of sipping (or drinking, whatever Thursday!) natural wines, made without any chemical interference. Forget all you thought you knew about wine, this is going to be wild.
The wines will be paired with canapes by the raw nut cheese artisan that is Kate Bronte-Stewart of Nutkin.
Nutkin is a naturopathic kitchen specialising in artisan nut-based cheeses. We are committed to using functional, healthy ingredients that promote health whilst never compromising on flavour.
Kate is the founder of Nutkin. She started the company because she couldn’t find a dairy-free cheese alternative that was both delicious and healthy. As a naturopath she uses the principles of naturopathic nutrition to underpin the development of all Nutkin’s products.
