Description

‘Tasting At The Tower’

‘The Phantom Pig’ are celebrating their one-year anniversary and are teaming up with ‘Balfron Season’ to host a two night experimental dining experience in East London. ‘Balfron Season’ is a unique programme of events presented by Bow Arts taking place in and around the Grade II listed Balfron Tower, the venue for this event.

Balfron Tower is a 27-storey architectural pilgrim in the heart of East London, and ‘The Phantom Pig’ have taken full advantage of this and set-up their dining room on the top floor overlooking the stunning views of the Dockland skyline.

Head chef Vix Rathour and his talented team will indulge you in an exciting seasonal tasting menu using locally sourced and foraged British produce, combining a mix of unusual and traditional flavours.

The six-course tasting menu costs only £39.50 and includes, beside the six awesome courses, homemade bread with maple bacon butter (yep, you read that right! It did say ‘Maple Bacon Butter’) and a glass of champagne on arrival. You are also welcome to bring your own spirits, wines or anything you like to drink with your food because it's BYOB!

So if you feel like celebrating our birthday by trying out some exciting and innovative food presented in a fun and quirky way while taking in the breath taking views, this might just be the ticket for you!

IMPORTANT INFO:

Upon the purchase of your ticket you will receive an email confirming your booking and details on how to enter the building. There will be a set meeting point outside the building, one at 7pm and the other at 7:20pm. You will be allocated a slot convenient for you and a member of our team will lead you up into our dining room. Food will then be served at 7:45pm sharp, so please be on time as lateness isn’t fashionable anymore!

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
