Swindle is a multi instrumentalist, producer and DJ from London. He has self released his music as far back as 2006, and featured in many projects between then and his debut album that came via Mala’s Deep Medi in 2013. ‘Long Live The Jazz’ established Swindle on the global circuit as a DJ and Live Act.

Breakthrough performances at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards, and two outstanding shows on Boiler Room (one alongside Jazz legend Lonnie Liston Smith), cemented him as one of the most promising electronic musicians of our time.

Background:

Peace, Love & Music the album is a direct result of Swindle’s experiences globally on tour. Meeting new people around the world regularly has opened him up to new ways of approaching the creative process and presenting it. This is a thank you to some of those people involved. We visit four continents in the global journey, toasting the Grime roots in London with JME, saluting Glasgow via Mungo’s Hi Fi alongside Flowdan, and stopping in Bristol for an up tempo work out with TC. LA and Denver are close to Swindle’s heart and shape the album as much as the Far East does with his connections in Malasimbo, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Musically he continues on the jazzy path he set off on with, but widens the tempo and boosts the live instrumentation with his live band members and musical family.

Backed with a strong visual campaign detailing his creative process, and his relationships with these places and people, Swindle brings everyone together that share the same ethos, and that is spreading positive message through music.
