Choir - through the love of singing as a team

Join us for our debut live performance in aid of HARP charity - the local charity aiming to end rough sleeping in Southend-on-Sea. They help local people overcome homelessness for good. Every year they help over 1000 people at risk of losing their homes, those who are sofa surfing, those who are rough sleeping and many with mental health issues and many that issues with drugs and alcohol, giving them access to specialist help as well as beneficial courses to help move forward in the future.

Members will sing songs across all genres including Rock, Indie, Pop,Gospel, EDM and more, all accompanied by a live band and lead by the sensational Jenny Deacon. Jenny has a wealth of experience not only in leading choirs and writing choral arrangements, she is also a professional singer and musician with a passion for harmony.

Despite this being their debut live performance, the choir have had worldwide interest as a result of their own music campaign for Music Support UK, creating a music video to Foo fighters' 'Come Alive' to raise awareness of the suicide and support helpline for those within the music industry. The video was picked up and shared by Dave Grohl himself, on behalf of the band. You can watch it here. This choir really is a treat for the ears, performing challenging arrangements that will move your hearts and your bums, so don't miss out!

During the interval there will be tea/coffee and cake to enjoy and a chance to win a raffle prize!

(All profits and ticket sales go to charity)

(Tickets will also be available on the door, but at your own risk!)
