Description

The second event in our Suppers For Good series features the incredibly versatile and talented chef Steve Wilson. Steve is an extremely popular Made In Hackney cookery teacher (and was also very popular with Jamie Oliver when he visited us!), was the former Head Chef at The Russet, founder of People’s Kitchen community feasts and founder of The Dalston Cola Company.

For tonight’s feast Steve will take diners on a five course modern European culinary journey showcasing his new found love of fermentation with homemade misos, shoyus and pickles accompanying seasonal produce and wild foraged ingredients from Hackney Marshes. Also a huge thank you to Steve who is running the London Marathon to fundraise for us. The proceeds from tonight’s supper will be added to his fundraising total and used to help us deliver cookery classes to vulnerable and in-need community groups across the capital.

The Menu
Wild Nettle and Almond Broth
King Oyster Scallops, Romanesco, Seaweed Caviar
Grilled Asparagus, Potato Tart, Sorrel and Hazelnut
Spinach and Macadamia Ricotta Tortelloni, Wild Garlic Pesto
Rhubarb, Blood Orange, Meringue, Elderflower Champagne

A bar will be available throughout the night.

Getting hungry?! You get to eat all this amazing food in the name of a good cause! Now that's a night out.

All dishes will be 100% plant-based and gluten-free. If you have any allergies please inform us on purchasing a ticket.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
