We’re excited to announce a special collaboration betweenLondon Terrariums and Spread London to celebrate the summer solstice and longest day of 2018.
Join us for a classic Tinyjohn terrarium workshop where your green fingers can work their magic under the sun in the beautiful surroundings of Benk + Bo. We’ll also be serving a summer lunch of bountiful floral sharing platters, and delicious seasonal petit fours, complemented with botanical cocktails. More info and menus to be announced soon.
Terrarium Workshop
During the terrarium workshop you will learn how a terrarium works; how these self-contained ecosystems survive so well on their own and how to look after them.
We will start with a brief introduction into the history and science behind terrariums, from the different plants you can use as well as why activated charcoal has become an essential for us.
We will give you a demo on how to make your own and then it is your turn to get stuck in and have a go yourselves!
We will supply you with a Tinyjohn Jar which you will fill with various Fittonia, Ivy and an arrangement of pebbles and mosses.
Ask us any questions and by the end of the session you will have your own exciting miniature garden to take away and watch develop over the next months and years.
About Spread:
Emma and Jess at Spread provide a series of curated events centred around food and drink. We believe that simple dishes, made with locally sourced ingredients, presented to a hungry table can become something really special.
For private parties, we are happy to re-create any of our events in your home or talk to you about creating a bespoke menu for your special occasion.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
