The Westminster Chamber Orchestra present a brand new weekend festival in conjunction with St. Michael's and All Angels Church, Sunninghill.
Friday 7th June at 7:30pm
The Westminster Chamber Soloists, with Anita D'Attellis (piano), Peter Davis (violin), and Bryony Moody ('cello) perform a variety of works, including Mendelssohn's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Schumann's Op. 70 and works by Elgar and Vaughan Williams. Tickets are £15, or £10 for Under 18s.
Saturday 8th June at 7:30pm
The Westminster Chamber Orchestra Scholars, Heather Brooks (harp) and Eleanor Holmes (violin), present a varied programme of music along with their accompanist. Highlights include the Handel harp concerto and works by Renié, Glière, Brahms, Bruch and Khachaturian. Tickets are £10.
Sunday 9th June at 4:30pm
Come and Sing Fauré's Requiem at 4:30pm, conducted by Tom Stockwell of St. Michael's Church, along with the Westminster Chamber Orchestra, the St. Michael's Church Choir, and soloists Rachael Johnson (soprano) and Christopher Willoughby (baritone). All are invited to the Come and Sing event and ticket cost includes entry to the rest of the evening concert, which includes the Fauré Requiem. Tickets are £15.
Sunday 9th June at 6:30pm
The Westminster Chamber Orchestra, along with participants from the afternoon Come and Sing event, the St. Michael's Church Choir, and professional soloists are under the baton of Tom Stockwell for Fauré's Requiem. Preceding this, the Westminster Chamber Orchestra, directed by Peter Davis, present a selection of Romantic works from the British Isles. Tickets are £10.
