Sugar Free Afternoon Tea with Sarah Wilson
We're about to make quitting sugar your cup of tea.
Forgoing the sweet stuff may sound a bit drastic, but it's actually pretty easily done – just ask Sarah Wilson, bestselling author and creator of the I Quit Sugar programme. Her website is also Australia's largest health and wellness site, and her accessible lifestyle plan has helped more than 1.5 million people give up refined sugar.
Wilson herself was a self-confessed sugar addict who decided she needed to make a change, cleansing her diet of processed foods and fructose. Her plan is not about counting calories or losing weight, it is more of a lifestyle change, focusing on homemade, natural dishes packed full of flavour.
"But what about dessert?" We hear you cry, "and what about that Great British tradition of Afternoon Tea?"
Funny you should ask. We've actually got both.
We have partnered with Wilson to create an exclusive dessert and a Sugar-Free Afternoon Tea, where you can sample a variety of her signature sweet and savoury recipes.
What's more, Wilson will be joining us to launch the afternoon tea on Sunday 25 June in the Second Floor Brasserie, where you can be the first to try the menu and also find out about the benefits of the I Quit Sugar plan. Tickets are £30, including one of Wilson's bestselling books.
Harvey Nichols Second Floor Brasserie, 21 New Cathedral Street, M1 1AD Manchester
