    This session introduces and explores what is meant by ‘STEM By Nature’ and how Trees, Woods & Forests can offer a rich source of information, resources and activities in relation to it. It will highlight Curriculum for Excellence and STEM connections, including examples and opportunities for Interdisciplinary Learning and showing how Trees, Woods & Forests can relate to the 4 Contexts, equity and work skills.

    This free event will be delivered by the John Muir Trust and Outdoor & Woodland Learning Scotland (supported by Scottish Forestry). Education Scotland has funded the development of a suite of STEM By Nature resources and materials.

    Please note that this session is tailored for upper primary and secondary levels, and is therefore not suitable for early years practitioners.

    The event will be taking place over Microsoft Teams, so please ensure you have a functioning microphone and a strong enough internet connection in order to ensure you get the most out of the session.     • I have not received my STEM By Nature, Trees, Woods & Forests ticket via email. What should I do?

      The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your STEM By Nature, Trees, Woods & Forests tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your STEM By Nature, Trees, Woods & Forests tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

    • I wish to cancel my STEM By Nature, Trees, Woods & Forests ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

      The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
