Description

This unique event is dedicated to the #UKIndiayearofculture. The celebration of the 70th anniversary of #Indianindependence and UK cultural ties. It will be a full day of Indian screenings, #Bollywood dance workshop, regional food stalls and Indian fusion music at its best. A fun day for families, children, young people and expats to learn about #Indianculture and #Indianheritage.

MATINEE SCREENING Get the best out of Sunday 17th! Enjoy a matinee screening @2pm with Babylon Sisters (2017) by Gigi Roccati. A feelgood, song-soaked film about Indian family emigrated to Italy highlighting the power of sisterhood, Followed by Q&A with the director.

DANCE Dance with the team of Bollywood Vibes Dance Company. Learn all the secret moves!

EVENING SCREENING Riveting evening screening @5pm with Mukti Bhawan - Hotel Salvation by Shubhashish Bhutiani, a multiawarded film that deals with life/death and family ties. Followed by Q&A with director led by Cary Sawhney , director of Bagri FoundationiLondon INDIAN Film Festival.

MUSIC Soak in Indian music with a fusion band led by Sirishkumar Manji, famous tabla player.

FOOD Smell, taste and rejoice with chef Vishnu V. Natarajan of FOOD PASSION. Delicious concoctions of the best Indian cuisine will be available all throughout the day.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
