UPPERCASE DIGITAL SOCIAL MEDIA SCHOOL AT CULVER + NELSON, SW14

Come and learn how to get the best out of social media for business with UPPERCASE Digital. We are a local agency with proven experience of growing social media followings for media brands, small businesses and charities. While we normally offer one-to-one consultations, we have partnered with deli and work hub Culver + Nelson to offer group courses for the first time. 

We believe that social media is a powerful marketing and creative tool, but we also know how important it is to set realistic goals, find ways to save time and effort, and balance having a brilliant online presence with making sure you still have time to focus on your core business. 

The two courses below kick off our School of Social Media, and will be small group workshops in the lovely setting of Culver + Nelson. Course fees include a glass of wine (or soft drink) and light refreshments.

  1. SOCIAL MEDIA: AN INTRODUCTION

Learn the basics on which social media channel is right for you, how to find the right audience and what to post. This is a workshop version of the talk we did at Google Campus which one of the delegates described as 'like landing on the moon' because there are so many myths about social media and we're always pleased to bust them. We will workshop which channels you should be on and why, and go through some streams you may not have heard of. We will talk about how to set realistic targets for social media, how to save time, and some useful tools/software.

2. CONTENT STRATEGY: A DEEPER DIVE

How to develop a tone of voice and content strategy which helps build your brand and connect you to people who need/love what you do. This is more about what exactly to post once you've chosen which channel to focus on, how to source content, how to achieve your aims through content, how to tell your story, whether and how to put yourself into the content, and we'll look at some accounts that do it well.

Each workshop costs £45, or if you book both sessions we are offering a special discounted price of £80.   • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.   • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

    Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
