    Description

    SLAY THE PITCH

As a content creator, do you often find yourself in a never ending cycle of producing one-off pieces of content that are often created for brands in exchange for experiences/products or for compensation below their actual worth?

We've been there, and after one year of constantly creating free content in exchange for something, we realised that our content was worth more than the value of a free dinner or voucher. Exchanges don't pay the bills, and we grew weary of piecemealing our services and time for little to nothing in return.

As many bloggers continue to grow their breadth of influence, it's important to understand the art of pitching and the power that a well-thought pitch can yield. If you consider your blog/vlog a publishing platform, then as an influencer, you should consider yourself an independent publishing entrepreneur, and know the value of your own marketing ecosystem.

Join us for three hours of in-depth workshops, where you will learn the following:

    • Learn how to research, compose, and pitch successful campaigns
    • Learn the steps to creating relationships with brands who reflect your brand ethos
    • Learn how to price services and campaigns that align with your quality of content and social media blueprint
    • Learn how to keep the momentum up (post campaign) to guarantee future campaign work

    Workshop facilitator bio:

Eulanda and Omo are co-founders of Hey! Dip Your Toes In (HDYTI); a platform which promotes creative digital content with a focus on global travel and food culture. In the last calendar year alone, they have worked with over 45 leading brands including IBM Chef Watson, OgilvyOne, Global Food Tourism Conference, P&O Cruises, and Urban Adventures.

Using their skills in writing, photography, branding and management consulting, they have helped travel & food culture brands around the world to create compelling digital content that has improved their marketing strategies and visibility within their niche areas.

Their authoritative voice on global travel, food tourism, and influencer marketing has led them to be sought out as guest speakers. Upcoming engagements include keynote speaking at the 2017 Global Food Tourism Conference in Montreal.
