Slamboree Soundsystem is the DJ incarnation of the Pyro-Circus Dub Rave Massive also known as Slamboree; with a fearsome reputation of bringing heavyweight bass to festivals and clubs across the world. The DJ & vocal duo [Freear & Kathika Rabbit] perform a full-throttle dance explosion featuring an eclectic genre-busting mashup of styles! The Slamboree Soundsystem show is undoubtedly one of the most unique on the circuit.

Slamboree won ‘Best Live Act’ at last year’s Breakspoll International Breakbeat awards, Deekline’s remix of their track ‘Cheeky Peepers’ won ‘Best Remix’ and Freear was nominated for “Best Breakthrough DJ”.

From the moment Gorgeous George take to the stage, before the guitar has been struck or the trombone has been blasted you already know this is a band who put their life into what they do. From the off it’s a full-on lyrical assault, a lung-busting gallop, with melodies and rhythms flying from innumerable instruments, held together with a passion and intensity that you thought disappeared years ago.

Meet Charlie, Christopher, Thomas, Theo, Kevin, Deanna and Tom. From their birth 2 years ago, they have gone from playing legendary sets to packed back rooms in the pubs of New Cross, Bethnal Green and Camden to becoming regular fixtures at festivals such as Isle of Wight, Secret Garden Party, Bestival and Boomtown Fair.

Growing up in the capital city and absorbing all the experiences it has to offer has resulted in spiky, acerbic tales from lyricists Charlie and Chris. Heartfelt, with meaning, yet funny and brutal. This is married with a genre defying brew of sounds, that takes you on a madcap circus-like journey all over the world and then back again before the next song starts!

Captain Daywalker

It’s Captain Daywalker’s half hour of fun!!!! Here at the Magic Garden we are honoured to have pinned down the elusive Daywalker for an hour long set. The rarely spotted Daywalker has made guest appearances at everything from free parties to Glastonbury, and is famous for his eclectic sets and flowing locks. Don’t miss the chance to catch this enigmatic lover of groove, who’ll take you on a journey through disco, funk, bass and just about every genre you can possibly imagine!
