    Description

Join architect Nuno Pais and illustrator Lis Watkins to walk through medieval and renaissance London from St.Bride's church to magnificent St.Paul's Cathedral, sketching a variety of streetscapes and buildings along the way.

For 2 hours we will be walking and sketching this historic part of London capturing atmospheric narrow lanes, buildings disappearing behind other buildings, hidden courtyards, colourful corners and grand buildings. We'll be drawing using pen on paper and watercolour. No pencils allowed. 😊

We will meet at the intersection of Bride Lane with New Bridge Street, off Blackfriars Rail Station at 2p.m.

We will start our walk and stop at 4 locations with 4 different challenges to help you get started.

    1. Bride Lane

    2. Blackfriars Lane

    3. Carter Lane

    4. St.Paul's Cathedral

At the end of the session there'll be time for Q&As and to socialise at the listed art-deco pub The Blackfriar. (7 mins walk down from St. Paul's)

We have also planned alternative stops in case it rains.

Please bring your art kit and a stool, if you have one, as seating options can be limited.

    12 places. £24 per person

We are very much looking forward to drawing with you!
