This experimental course is suitable for both seasoned creatives and beginners. Participants will use sketchbook activities, including a variety of drawing and painting techniques, to develop processes, ideas, and useful tools to combat blank page freeze. A non-precious, playful approach in which you will produce several different sketchbook forms, charting and focussing your ideas. The course tutor, artist Lucy Dean, creates a supportive environment where you can work at your own pace and skill level and feel free to take creative risks.
This course is aimed at adults (above 16). Sessions take place Tuesday afternoons between 1.30-3.30pm. Individual sessions are £12 and there are tickets available for the full 10 week course at a reduced rate of £100.

The classes run in our DC3 workshop space on 1-5 Seaside, which is fully accessible to those with limited mobility and purposely refitted as a creative work space.
