    3. The Great on Skates Experience

Sk8Hub will be welcoming the multi-talented, New Jersey/Philly-based Great on Skates skate crew to London for ‘The Great on Skates Experience’! For their first time in the UK, Shamar aka Miraculous Spinz (Great on Skates), Brandon Kelley aka STL Batman (Just Us League), and dancer, India Bernardino (Great on Skates) will be delivering a series of workshops on: Spinning, St. Louis Ballroom & Streetstyle/Freestyle skating.

    St. Louis Ballroom Skating

Led by STL Batman from Just Us League

    Saturday 27th January - 16:30 - 18:00

We're bringing St. Louis, the Mecca of ballroom skating, to London Town!

The Stl Ballroom skating style has become an outward fascination to the skate world. Learning from "Just us League" and St.Louis, Missouri native instructor Brandon Kelley, aka Batman, will give you a hands-on unique experience of this captivating style. This style originated in St.Louis where you can see the passion during the slow sets at the rink. The style is romantic and captivating, which draws all the attention and emphasis to the female. Ballroom skating allows an experience for others to express their emotions through this elegant style of skating.

One of the greatest powers of ballroom style skating is helping one get in touch with their true nature by letting the movement flow to the music. The way to become a great ballroom style skater is being able to skate with anyone. This is ballroom dancing on skates at its best. Whether you're coming solo, with your skate buddy or your Valentine, this partner skating session will give you something extra to flex with at the rink!

    Streetstyle/Freestyle Skating

Led by India & Spinz from Great on Skates

    Saturday 27th January - 18:30 - 20:00

Great on skates is a streetstyle/freestyle skate crew from Philadelphia/New Jersey. We combine streetstyle dancing with freestyle skating. We enjoy incorporating our dance skills on skates. Most moves are from the foundation of old-school hip-hop and house dance foundation. We are high-energy instructors using up-tempo house and/or hip-hop music for our classes. We take pride in making sure all students are getting what they need from our lessons.

    Spins with Spinz

Led by Miraculous Spinz from Great on Skates

    Saturday 27th January - 20:30 - 22:00

Shamar aka Miraculous Spinz is a magnificent spinner on skates who is able to break down the key to the perfect spins all while teaching about balance, posture, power and more. Shamar's inspiration and skate influence comes from Irvin Williams of Philadelphia, PA and many more legendary skaters. This workshop will cover the different levels of spinning as well as a spin demonstration. Shamar's technical warm-ups will help with each individual's goals. This workshop will unlock your spinning power at every level!
