Date

Dec 12 2017 18:00 - 19:00

Description

Join us for Hands Up's flagship Singing for Syrians' carol service at St Margaret's, Westminster on Tuesday 12th December!

It will be unlike any other carol service in London this year... there’ll be a star-studded array of readers and soloists. This year our stellar cast of readers will include Alexander Armstrong, Julie Christie, Colin Thubron, Martin Jarvis, Samuel West and Sophie Winkleman - it's not one to be missed!

So spread the word and bring your friends so we can all sing a carol or three and raise the roof for aid to Syria.

A note on the wider Singing for Syrians campaign:

Singing for Syrians is a UK-wide campaign run by the Hands Up Foundation which encourages individuals, bands, choirs, churches and cathedrals to hold their own carol concert, band night or musical fandango and this one is ours! The doors of these concerts are open to everyone, so ask your friends and ask them to ask theirs too.

It is easy to feel helpless and hopeless in the face of Syria's increasingly brutal and long-lasting conflict, but we all have the power to do something. Singing for Syrians is a positive and uplifting way to help those in need. Please join us to raise the roof for the projects Hands Up funds in and around Syria. More detail on these can be found on our website.

The suggested donations for tickets are in the panel on the right.

A note on refunds

If you have donated money for a ticket and find that you are unable to attend, we'll miss you, but we understand. We'll happily provide a full refund up until 7pm on Tuesday 5th December. All donated money will be going towards the projects we fund.

Organiser

The Hands Up Foundation is a young and innovative charity which was set up by four British friends. Inspired by our time in Damascus, we want to remind our friends in Syria that they have not been forgotten. Check here for any of our events.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
