Description
Choirs, do you want to raise money for WaterAid efforts in Malawi? And join hundreds of other singers from 40 of the UK's best choirs to fill The Scoop by City Hall with an abundance of water themed melodies in front of a huge crowd? Make sure you sign up for Sing for Water, a breathtaking concert now in its seventeenth year led by Katie Rose and Roxane Smith, part of Totally Thames 2019...
Last year, we raised £22,000 for WaterAid efforts in Rwanda and also reached our target of raising £1 million for the charity since Sing for Water began, so help us build on this success and sign your choir up this year! This year we are raising money for WaterAid in Malawi.
Why WaterAid?
Right now, millions of people across the world are living without access to clean water and sanitation. This crisis is costing lives and ruining chances of development. WaterAid's vision is a world where everyone has access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene - basic human rights that most take for granted.

CHOIR LEADERS
If you would like your choir to be part of Sing for Water 2019, choir leaders should read the information document on our website, and register by contacting Kate Forde, our Head of Education and Engagement, no later than Friday 31 May. Please also circulate information with your choir members in good time so that they can sign up to be part of the performance.
SINGER'S ATTENDANCE FEE
Due to high drop out rates in previous years, we have introduced a £5 sign-up fee for singers who want to take part with their choir. To guarantee space at the concert, please do this below by Sunday 30 June. Please note that as well as registering online here you will also need to register with your choir leader so that they know how many numbers to expect over the weekend. They will then be responsible for sending you the up to date music and event information.
