Description
The Sunday Boys are back with a night of powerful pop songs that celebrate the voices and stories of queer artists and allies.
We’re joined by guest music leader Ashleigh Dowler, who’s worked with our singers on two new arrangements: Swanlights by Anohni and a brand-new original song written especially for The Sunday Boys.
The programme also features smaller groups from the choir, performing a few extra songs including Hope There’s Someone by Anohni, Kaleidoscope by Chappell Roan and Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks.
This event marks the end of our Sing for Spring project, where choir members and guest singers from across the LGBTQ+ community have come together to learn new music and share a performance.
The evening also doubles as our spring social. The bar opens at 7.15pm, the performance runs from 7.30–8.15pm, and you’re welcome to stay for a drink afterwards. Last orders are at 9.30pm.
Whether you’re here to support someone in the choir, you’re a fan of the programme, or just curious to see what happens when voices come together in new ways - we can't wait to see you!
