The Widgeon Theatre boat is 81 years old this year and to celebrate her history she has been given a new lease of life.
On Sunday the 29th April we have an Introductory shadow theatre workshop which runs between 1-4pm. Learn colourful, magical-looking cut paper techniques for teaching or entertaining young people, storytelling, effects for live theatre and music as well as film. This flexible workshop allows for experimentation and one-to-one professional advice on projects.
Acclaimed puppetry artist Raven Kaliana (ravenkaliana.com) teaches and has performed at Little Angel Theatre, and has taught shadow theatre workshops nationally and internationally. Many of her award-winning theatre and film productions incorporate shadow theatre.
The workshop is suitable for all ages - children (when supervised by an adult,) as well as teens and adults. No art background required. Widgeon Theatre staff and contractors are DBS checked.

As a traditional Historical working canal narrowboat, she carried heavy loads of coal, sand and gravel up and down our British waterways but now is able to enjoy a leisurely life of entertaining you.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
