Join Alice Gallagher from Sew Me Wear Me to learn how to make a beautiful handmade tote bag with this perfect beginner-friendly project.

This workshop is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of machine sewing.

It will cover various sewing techniques, which Alice will talk you through step by step throughout the afternoon.

You will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread your sewing machine and basic stitch options. We will construct a basic lined tote bag together.

Additional kits will be available to buy for £18 for your own future use but all other materials will be provided. You will get to go home with your finished tote bag.

Alice works for The Open University, designing engaging learning experiences. In her spare time she designs children’s wear sewing patterns. Her work has been featured in various publications such as Love Sewing Magazine.
