Virtual Mindfulness Day and Evening - Live and Interactive

How the day will run: 
Morning Meditation Session: There will be short talks from Suryacitta followed by 20 minute meditations. This will be followed by 20 minutes "open" period for stretching, walking, tea or just sitting around quietly. Then another short talk and another meditation. The primary meditation will be Shikan Taza (Just Sitting) from the Soto Zen tradition Some meditations will be guided such as the reflections on death and dying, who am I? and other insight meditations.   

Afternoon Meditation Session  Begins with a short talk from Suryacitta followed by guided and silent meditations with short breaks and more short talks.  

Evening Meditation Session Begins with a short talk from Suryacitta followed by guided and silent meditations with short breaks and more short talks.  The days are suitable for anybody who has some experience of meditation.   Requirements: A quiet space, a computer, tablet or smart phone and a decent internet or 3g/4g connection.  Please log on around 5-10 minutes prior to the start and wait quietly. You will be muted so we cannot hear all the back ground sounds. You can unmute yourself or Suryacitta will unmute you during the question time.

Suryacitta, co-founder of Mindfulness CIC is the author of five books including Happiness and How it Happens - Finding Contentment Through Mindfulness. He teaches and speaks around the UK, Europe and Australia and is known for his down to earth, simple and practical style free from jargon and cliches. 

He has been practising meditation since 1989 and teaching since 1996.
