ICI London is thrilled to present a talk on Sculpture and the Venice Biennial. The panel explores the volume La scultura alla Biennale di Venezia (1895-1914). Una presenza in ombra (Zel Edizioni), an in-depth study on sculpture by international artists between the 19th and 20th centuries presented at the first eleven editions of the Venice Biennial.

The author Cristina Beltrami will discuss with Debora Rossi, Responsible for the Historical Archive of Contemporary Arts, with Barbara Musetti, who has long dealt with sculptors active between Italy and Europe, and with Marie Tavinor, who focused her studies on the economic dynamics around Venice Biennial. They will focus on the importance of the volume La scultura alla Biennale di Venezia (1895-1914), now considered a fundamental archive for the Venice Biennial in the modern era.
